For the past 30+ years there have been different floor treatments available to make floors slip resistant.

What has been done is that typically a company would come in to treat the floor and charge somewhere between $2.00 and $3.00 per square foot for this treatment. This would create a surface that was extremely slip resistant. Then the company would walk away from it.

In a short time the floor would get an accumulation of soaps and greases that would coat the floor again. This would make the floor slippery again. This negated the process that was done to make the floor slip resistant.

By utilizing our system of TREATING THE FLOOR to make it slip resistant and also CLEANING THE FLOOR with our commercial grade SLIP RESISTANT SOLUTION'S SUPER FLOOR CLEANER/DEGREASER on a regular basis the floor will stay slip resistant longer. SLIP RESISTANT SOLUTIONS has taken the chemicals and modified them to make it practical for use by individuals to treat commercial kitchens themselves. WE NEED TO MAKE IT PERFECTLY CLEAR THAT THIS IS ONLY FOR COMMERCIAL KITCHEN FLOORS. IT CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO OTHER TILE FLOORS.

By using this process a restaurant can have their slip and fall accidents drastically reduced.

We warranty that if done properly this will meet the standards that The American’s With Disabilities Act uses for slip resistance. If used properly this will produce a coefficient of friction of greater than 0.60.

In the past there have been a number of companies that have treated floors for up to $3.00 per square ft. What we have done is to create a package where a restaurant owner or manager could treat the floor to make it slip resistant.

The kit contains enough chemicals to treat approximately 500 to 600 square feet. The price of the kit with enough SLIP RESISTANT SOLUTION'S SUPER FLOOR CLEANER DEGREASER AND enough SLIP RESISTANT SOLUTION'S SAFETY FLOOR TREATMENT to treat and clean for approximately one month is $249.00. This brings the cost down to less than $.50 per square foot.

Additional cleaning chemicals can be purchased separately to maintain the floor's slip resistance. The first thing that a business owner needs to do to determine how much chemical they need is to measure the area to be treated. Each case of chemicals will treat 500 to 600 square feet. The areas of the kitchen that need to be treated are all surface areas where someone will be walking or areas that are under moveable work stations. If that area has not been treated and the rest of the floor has been, that could create an additional hazard. By dividing the total square footage by 500 you will be able to determine how many cases of product you will need.
