"I kept coming to your website before I decided to make the purchase. Boy am I glad I did. My travertine looks just as good as it did before we applied the solution and the traction is so much better!"

Prevent Bathroom Accidents

There are many ways to prevent Bathroom Accidents. Statistics show that the bathroom is the most dangerous room in the house. 70% of home injuries occur in the bathroom. The majority of these accidents are slip and fall accidents.

Because bathtubs, showers and floors usually have smooth surfaces and get wet, accidents can happen easily. It just takes seconds to slip and fall. Slip and Fall accidents account for 95 % of all hip fractures!! This is not a problem to be ignored.

On this page we offer two different videos on "How to Prevent Bathroom Accidents."

Watch as we make Lynn's bathroom safe for her!

Here is what Lynn had to say one week after her floor was treated.

"Just wanted to tell you that after taking 2 baths, I can't get over how wonderful the floor is – not the least bit slippery!!!! It seems so strange not to put out that ugly mat on the step...just can't get over that the step is not even a little slippery. I am thrilled!!!!! "

The second video shows how to treat a bathtub to make it slip resistant.

There are several other steps that can be taken to prevent bathroom accidents:

  • Keep the floor clear and free of clutter.
  • Use non slip bath mats to reduce chances of slipping.
  • Clean up water and other liquids immediately.
  • Don't leave soap residue or wax on the floors
  • Install grab bars by toilets and in the shower or tub.
  • Make sure the bathroom is lighted. Be sure to use a night light

Testimonial

The tile that was laid on my outside walkway and 3 porches was extremely slippery when wet, creating a terribly dangerous condition. It was going to cost about $5,000 to demolish and replace. I found SLIP RESISTANT SOLUTIONS on the internet, ordered it, and hired a contractor to apply it. I'd do it myself, except I am a VERY senior citizen.

SLIP RESISTANT SOLUTION was easy to apply, and certainly did what it said it would do, and did not change the appearance of the tile. I even received a phone call from the company to be sure I was satisfied with the final results. Amazing in this day!
