How to Prevent Bathroom Accidents
There are many ways to prevent Bathroom Accidents. Statistics show that the bathroom is the most dangerous room in the house. 70% of home injuries occur in the bathroom. The majority of these accidents are slip and fall accidents.
Because bathtubs, showers and floors usually have smooth surfaces and get wet, accidents can happen easily. It just takes seconds to slip and fall. Slip and Fall accidents account for 95 % of all hip fractures!! This is not a problem to be ignored.

There are several other steps that can be taken to prevent bathroom accidents:
- Keep the floor clear and free of clutter.
- Use non slip bath mats to reduce chances of slipping.
- Clean up water and other liquids immediately.
- Don't leave soap residue or wax on the floors
- Install grab bars by toilets and in the shower or tub.
- Make sure the bathroom is lighted. Be sure to use a night light
