SAFETY EQUIPMENT FOR FLOOR TREATMENT
The first recommendation for safety equipment for floor treatment is that the person doing the application wear rubber boots.
It is also important to use eye protection and rubber gloves.
A respirator with a gas filter should be used.
Remember, these are chemicals and should not get on the skin or eyes.
Wear long sleeves and long pants. In the event the chemical does come in contact with the skin or the eyes, please follow the following instructions:
If the product gets on the skin then wash the area with soap and water. Do not attempt to neutralize with chemical agents.
If product gets in the eyes, first remove any contact lenses, then flush eyes for about 15 minutes in clear running water while trying to hold eyelids open. Seek medical attention.
Avoid inhaling the product. If it is inhaled then go outside to fresh air and wash the mouth and nasal passages with water. If breathing difficulties persist then seek medical attention.
All of these situations can be avoided by taking care to have the proper safety equipment. We have given some examples of safety equipment below.
